Taipei Multimedia Production Association includes members from audiovisual product production, manufacturing, release, distribution, logistics, and retail related companies or groups. These members use image or sound as content to provide the audiovisual content creation, design, planning, manufacturing, marketing, broadcasting, and transmission companies or groups for profit or non-profit use; or publishing image or sound to manage licensing or delegation of licensing operations.

The Association mainly assists with the promotion, research and suggestion for the audiovisual policies and laws of Taiwan government. The Association holds suggestion seminar, audiovisual development forum, and Cross-Strait audiovisual forums, serving as the communication channel between the government and industry. Moreover, the Association takes the commissioning from the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development to review the videos and documents released by the program recording industrie
